Kaylee meets Santa!

Well, another hectic week has come and gone! Wow I feel like Christmas is approaching insanely quickly and I have sooo much to do!
I can't imagine how I would get it done if I actually had to WORK! hahaha!

Speaking about work, I did have an interview last week for a new position with RIM. Pretty exciting news if you ask me. Of course it wouldn't be beginning until the new year but it is a start in the direction I would like to go.
***Kaylee's new snowsuit from Nanna***

This past weekend we also had Jordon's SURPRISE birthday party I threw for him. In the last few years I have thrown surprise parties for a few people and Jordon has never had one, which he was oh so happy to point out at one of our last parties. So this year I decided I was going to throw one for him and make sure he had no clue!
***All bundled up for our walk***
Of course I needed a plan to get him out of the house for the day. I called him boss up and asked if there was anything he could find for him to do on a Saturday to keep him out of the house until 6pm. "Not a problem at all" Paul said. Needless to say, Jordon ended up working in the pouring rain for 12 hours before coming home to be surprised with a bunch of his friends drinks in hand! LOL. Once he relaxed, had a shower and a few beer, I think he had a great time, however when he first walked in, he wasn't feeling it. I waited until after the few beer before announcing that it was my fault he ended up working an entire Saturday. Haha!
***Does someone like ravioli?***

Sunday was also a big day for us! It was the very first time Kaylee got to meet Santa Clause. It was Jordon's company's Christmas party for kids. While it was definitely geared towards the older children, with tons of activities and magic shows, it was still a great time. We waited very patiently in line to see Santa Clause and finally got that picture everyone loves to have!

It seemed like a very long weekend and I was definitely glad to come home that evening, put on my sweatpants and relax. I am pretty sure I was asleep by 9pm.
***Finished her cookie and snuck off to the bathroom... This is what I found***

I have also been busting my butt and whining about the pain that Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred video is putting me through. Man, I had heard about it before, however never realized what I was in for!
***Toby all snuggled up***
The first night I did the video, I believe I may have cursed at the television about 5-10 times. I wanted to give up but pushed through the aching, not nearly used enough muscles. The next morning I woke up to find out, I could barely move. I also realized I was severely out of shape. I seem to try all of these different things- walking, running, elliptical, swimming... But nothing has made me ache and hurt like this. I pushed on however and did the video 5 days last week. By the end of the week I was feeling significantly better at the video and proud of myself for pushing through. The icing on top of this cake was the 4lbs I dropped. I was a little worried, know that I was having a party and lots of finger foods that I would put it right back on the weekend, however I was only up 1 on Monday morning and am hoping that after I pushed through the video again last night I will continue to drop!
So some other very exciting news around here, is Kaylee has continually been taking 2-3 steps at a time. She hasn't figured out "Walking" per say, however she will be holding onto something, say the coffee table, want to get to a toy a few feet away, let go of the table, stand free and take 1, 2 or 3 steps before falling and crawling the rest of the way! It seems she is so close. She will walk beside you with holding onto just one of your hands and pushes her little stroller around the house like nobodies business... I am sure walking is not far off!!
***Unwrapping her first present***
This morning I was adamant about finishing my Christmas decorations. Not the ones your all thinking of... Jordon's father Doug, cut out all of these incredible little Christmas tree ordaments out of wood and gave them to me. So I thought it would be great to attach one to Christmas cards I would be handing out to people or attaching them so small gifts for the neighbours and such. I painted them all up this morning and added some sparkles! I am telling you... I was so proud of myself! LOL. They look pretty darn good!
***Talking Winnie The Pooh!***

Other then that, I have been spending my days, reading plenty of stories, which is Kaylee's new favorite thing to do, trying to get ready for Christmas and enjoying the time I get to spend with Kaylee.
Some days are amazing and some days I very much look forward to Jordon walking in the door for Mommy's time out.

Well, enjoy a few pictures! Leave me a comment! I lovvve the comments!

Have a great day!
